Homework Task - research

In order for you to understand the different types of briefs, you will initially do some research and write up a brief description of the following:
What is a media brief?

media brief is a document which summarises a client's communications strategy and/or campaign objectives and requests solutions to meet its objectives. It may be circulated by the client or its media agency to media owners, who respond with proposals outlining how they intend to achieve the clients' objectives.
Part 1
Understand the requirements of working to a brief Structure of briefs:

  • informal; 
  • commission; 
  • tender; 
  • cooperative brief; 
  • competition
Create a post and title the post "Different types of Briefs'

Part 2

For the second part, I would like  for you to explain :

Reading a brief: Please read this statement: 'recognise nature of and demand implicit in brief' - in a few sentences describe what this might mean and  why is this important when working with a client in the media industries?
